How can we help?

Email hello@sidebop.com with what happened, the device and iOS version you use, and any steps that reproduce the problem. Please do not send a password, sign-in token, or full payment information.

Browse without an account

An account is optional for event browsing. Sign in is used to sync saves, taste, and Boops across devices. If account service is unavailable, you should still be able to browse the current or last-good event board.

Delete an account

  1. Open Sidebop and sign in.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This removes the account and linked cloud data. Guest information stored only on the phone remains until you remove the app. If the in-app control is unavailable, email hello@sidebop.com from the account email.

Location is optional

You can always choose an LA area manually. To change location access on iPhone, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Sidebop. Sidebop uses location on-device to find the closest area and does not upload your coordinates.

Notifications

Sidebop currently uses local reminders for saved events. Change permission in Settings → Notifications → Sidebop. Watch Boops also keep an in-app inbox copy; a label should not imply email, SMS, or push delivery unless that channel is actually enabled.

Wrong or changed event information

Schedules, locations, prices, age limits, and availability can change. Open the event’s source listing before you go. To report a bad listing, email its Sidebop title, source URL, and the correction to hello@sidebop.com. Do not send a private address for a secret or to-be-announced location.
